With over 30 years of accounting and business experience, Nancy Rumfelt, owner of Beyond Accounting can provide a wide range of services to a diverse set of industries such as manufacturing, construction, service or retail.

Nancy’s path to accounting began in 1979 when she joined the U.S. Navy where she was an Aviation Storekeeper. During her military service, she worked with inventory and purchasing at both the squadron and military base levels, received awards for improving procedures and efficiency and was honorably discharged with rank of E-5 Petty Office Second Class in 1985.

Following her military service, Nancy has held a variety of accounting positions which includes being a Controller or CFO for several companies with revenues ranging from $4 to $250 million dollars. Her focus has been and always will be on helping businesses improve processes, efficiency, profitability and most importantly helping business leaders create the best roadmap to success for their company.

While stationed in Japan Nancy attended the University of Maryland-Atsugi Division and then completed her education at Regis University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
